About Lucy
Lucy Lowe

I have been a Counsellor for over 20 years. Over the course of my career I have worked for corporate organisations, as a lecturer and tutor, and within schools supporting staff and Headteachers. I currently work closely with Gloucestershire County Council, supporting their staff particularly within education and social services.

I now spend my working life in private practice in a quiet and serene setting. I offer individual sessions face to face, video or telephone sessions, and therapy walks which take the work outside into nature. I use body, mind and soul to help regain balance and peace, and a combination of talking, nutrition, movement and nature as well as practical steps to change.

I live in both Gloucester and rural Sheffield, where I have a home with my partner and our four dogs. We run a home boarding centre for dogs, providing a them with a holiday home whilst their owners are away. We spend much of our free time walking and training dogs in the beautiful Peak District countryside.

I have an Honours Degree, a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, and 20 years experience as a counsellor where I have taken my work into nature and the body as well as the mind. I am accredited with the UK Association of Humanistic Psychology Practitioners (UKAHPP), registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and on the PSA Accredited Register. For more information please see www.ahpp.org and www.psychotherapy.org.uk.
